Vintage Rustic Wedding at Bridges Vancouver

With its West Coast views and elegant dining room, Alisa and Jesse’s romantic Vancouver wedding at Bridges Restaurant is the perfect wedding to welcome us into the start of summer! Enjoy the beautiful story of this couple’s special day captured by husband and wife duo, Shari & Mike Photography

Décor details included rustic inspired floral arrangements, vintage furniture and warm candles that dotted the entire room. The head table was dressed with eucalyptus, silver dollar leaves, and giant blush pink paper pom poms that hung delicately from its strings. With its natural wooden beams and high ceilings, the restaurant had already a wonderful warm ambiance so little was to be done in terms of dressing the space.

The cake was too pretty to eat. I loved the idea of using mini cupcakes instead of full-sized cupcakes!

Alisa and Jesse wanted a wedding that was relaxed and romantic with a touch of vintage brilliance. It was detailed yet lighthearted, but personalized to the couple in that every touch meant something to them.

The cocktail hour was followed by an elegant 3-course dinner, drinks, speeches, and a long night of dancing – all with not too much structure to the night. My favourite part of the evening was the first dance,  accompanied by beautiful live singing/guitar performed by a close friend of the couple. It took place at the perfect time on the terrace with the sun slowly setting in the background.

I enjoyed helping Alisa and Jesse out throughout the planning process and am happy that it was such a perfect evening surrounded by so much love! Thank you both again for having me.
